Pedestrian struck by car released from hospital
Update 11:00 pm: According to Cathedral City police, the victim has been released from the hospital with minor injuries.

One lane is closed on Ramon Road eastbound near Candlewood Drive in Cathedral City following a traffic collision. One car reportedly struck a pedestrian according to witnesses on the scene. The westbound side of Ramon is unaffected. The crash occurred at approximately 9:10 a.m. this morning.
One person on the scene was placed in an ambulance and sent to the hospital.
