Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar & Grill to open in downtown Palm Springs May 8

Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar & Grill will open its doors in downtown Palm Springs May 8.

The restaurant is a part of the city’s new downtown redevelopment project and will be the first location in California for the company’s new dining concept.

“It’s a place that celebrates the simple pleasures of carefully selected ingredients, gracious hospitality and the company of good friends. The heart of Palm Springs is the perfect place for our take on desert living. We think our guests will appreciate the seamless, relaxed transition of the indoor and outdoor spaces of the Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar & Grill where they can enjoy the iconic setting of this great resort destination,” said Rob Goldberg, Executive Vice President of Restaurants for Tommy Bahama.

The restaurant will be able to seat 180 guests at a time and have inside and outdoor dining space, as well as functioning as a retail store.

This will the second location for the company in the Coachella Valley, there is a Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar in Palm Desert.
