Man arrested for vehicle theft and violating probation
Coachella man arrested for vehicle theft and probation violation.
The Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force conducting a proactive patrol Thursday afternoon in Coachella. During the patrol, officers spotted an occupied stolen vehicle parked near the 52000 block of Tripoli Way.
Carlos Tapia, 38, was arrested for vehicle theft, vehicle theft with priors and violation of probation. Tapia was booked at the Indio Jail.
