CVUSD school bus crashes into fire hydrant in Palm Desert, no injuries
A Coachella Valley Unified School District bus has struck a fire hydrant near the intersection of Monterey Avenue and Fred Waring Drive in Palm Desert right in front of the McCallum Theatre. The accident occurred at approximately 10:45 a.m.
No children were on the bus at the time of the collision. The water has since been turned off. There were no injuries. The crash occurred after the bus backed into the hydrant.
The entrance to the McCallum Theatre was temporarily closed following the accident.
