Winning Mega Millions lottery ticket sold in Riverside

One of four winning tickets from the Mega Millions draw was sold at a Riverside gas station, but the ticket-holder has yet to come forward, California Lottery officials said today.

Friday’s drawing in the Mega Millions game, played in 44 states, netted a $2.28 million prize, to be split four ways.

A single ticket-holder will be entitled to $570,123, before taxes, officials said.

The Riverside ticket was sold at a Chevron in the 2200 block of Alessandro Boulevard. The other tickets were sold in Antioch, Los Angeles and Nipton, according to the lottery.

The winning numbers in the drawing were: 10, 4, 12, 18 and 5. None of the tickets had the Mega number — 21. The Mega Millions jackpot was won in Ohio.

“Winners are strongly encouraged to sign the back of their tickets in ink (and) keep them in a safe place where they’ll remember,” according to a lottery statement. “You must have your original ticket when claiming any Mega Millions prize.”
