2 injured in early morning shooting Desert Hot Springs

Police are investigating an early morning drive-by shooting in Desert Hot Springs Tuesday. It happened along the 13900 block of Sarita Drive just south of Sandalwood Drive at 2:30 a.m.

Officials said two men were injured.

There was no immediate word from police on their conditions.

One of those injured stayed at the scene. The other drove to Cuyamaca Drive and was then transported to a hospital for treatment. There was no suspect information provided.
