PDHS teacher placed on administrative leave for inappropriate behavior

A Palm Desert High School teacher has been placed on administrative leave after being accused of inappropriate behavior by students.

A concerned parent told KESQ & CBS Local 2 that the teacher was allegedly taking photos of female students.

Desert Sands Unified School District officials say they took action on the teacher as soon as students brought it to the attention of school administrators. The teacher has been on administrative leave since April 23, according to the district.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department conducted an investigation and said that at this have closed the case. According to investigators, the investigation revealed no evidence of any California state law(s) being violated.
