Man drowns in pool at Palm Desert residence
An elderly man is dead after drowning in a swimming pool at a residence in Palm Desert.
Cal Fire/Riverside County firefighters responded to a report of an elderly male found unresponsive in a pool at a residence on the 72000 block of Somera Road.
The incident was reported at 9:11 a.m.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His identity has not been released.
