Two people arrested on suspicion of elder abuse
Two people are behind bars on suspicion of elder abuse and weapons violations in Palm Desert, authorities said.
Deputies went to the 73800 block of Mondrain Place just before 2 p.m. Friday to investigate reports of elder abuse. During the investigation, they found a parolee in possession of firearms.
On Saturday, officers served a search warrant at the residence, seizing two firearms, ammunition, and two samurai swords. Jonathon Domenici, 24, and Kimberly Ray, 22, both of Palm Desert, were taken into custody and booked into the county jail in Indio on suspicion of weapons violations, criminal threats, and elder abuse.
