Two arrested for alleged string of La Quinta vehicle burglaries

Two arrested in relation to a string of vehicle burglaries in residential areas of La Quinta.

Luis Alfonso Burgos, 26, and Jennifer Selene Reta, 27, both from Indio, were arrested after an investigation related to numerous vehicle burglaries in La Quinta between January 2018 through April 2018.

The La Quinta Special Enforcement Team handle the investigation and arrested Burgos and Reta Thursday in Arabia St. on Indio.

Burgos and Reta were charged with charged with 16 counts of vehicle burglary, 2 counts of theft, 2 counts of vandalism, and conspiracy to commit a crime.

Burgos was also charged with a probation violation and Reta was charged with a parole violation.
