Stolen vehicle pursuit leads to fiery crash, suspect arrested
Suspect arrested after stolen vehicle pursuit and crash in Indio.
Deputies first received a report of a stolen vehicle at 12:40 p.m. in the 47000 block of Van Buren, Investigator Armando Munoz of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department told KESQ & CBS Local 2.
The stolen vehicle was eventually located and a short pursuit ensued. The stolen vehicle eventually crashed in the intersection of Indio Boulevard & Hwy 111.

The suspect, the lone occupant in the vehicle, left the vehicle and fled the scene on foot, Munoz said. The suspect was found and arrested a short time later in the area of Taurus Avenue and Calhoun Street.
