Company seeks Coachella Valley residents for seafood work in Alaska

Silver Bay Seafoods is currently recruiting people to work in Alaska over the summer. The company is a processing facility that focuses on integrating processors of salmon, herring, and squid-products for domestic and export markets.

Silver Bay is one of the largest seafood companies in Alaska with six processing facilities throughout the west coast. One of the recruiters from the company is looking for people in the Coachella Valley 18 years or older with documents to work in the U.S.

“They don’t need any experience. The only thing they need is that they want to work,” said Lily Ayon, a representative of the company. “They’re going to save money. They’re just going to work over there. The company gives them a place to live and eat.”

The job requires working with your hands, heavy lifting, and standing for long periods of time. Processors earn $13 to $15 an hour.

You can apply online here or call Lilia Ayon at 442-268-8103.
