Police investigating shooting outside Cathedral City strip club
Cathedral City Police officers were investigating what witnesses called a shooting in front of the Showgirls Gentlemen’s Club early Wednesday morning.
A news conference with the Police Chief Travis Walker was expected sometime before 9:00 a.m. with official details.
According to one eyewitness, there was a shooting sometime around the last call at Showgirls at 2:00 a.m. The shooting happened outside the club in the parking lot. At least two people were injured, according to the witness.
The entire Showgirls parking lot was cordoned off, along with next-door businesses.
No details have been released by the Cathedral City Police Department. Officer say they will be investigating for the next few hours.
