One person hospitalized after house fire in Cathedral City
One person has been hospitalized after a fire broke out at a home in Cathedral City Saturday night.
The fire was reported about 8:30 p.m. The Cathedral City Fire Department dispatched all units to the scene near Tamara Road due to the high winds as firefighters were concerned the flames would spread to other houses.

According to the KESQ News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2 crew at the scene, crews were able to get the fire under control quickly. The resident was taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
