Twentynine Palms man found dead on Palm Springs hiking trail
A 40-year-old man was found dead today on a hiking trail in Palm Springs.
According to the Palm Springs Police Department, Christopher Wathen of Twentynine Palms located at the Skyline Trail located above the Palm Springs Museum at around 2:30 p.m.
Wathen was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Riverside County coroner’s officials.
A Palm Springs police watch sergeant had no information about how the man died but said that foul play was not suspected.
