Arizona man arrested in connection with Cabazon shooting

Deputies with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department arrested Billy Marshall, 32, of Phoenix, AZ Saturday afternoon in connection with a shooting in Cabazon.

The incident happened just after 2 a.m. Saturday near the area of Main Street and Interstate 10. Deputy Robyn Flores said deputies located a victim and found that his vehicle was struck by gunfire.

The victim was not struck and deputies were still on scene just before 3 a.m. investigating the shooting, she said.

It’s still unknown how many shots were fired or what led up to the shooting.

Marshall is currently held on $25,000 bail at Larry D. Smith Correctional facility.
