Freeway crash slows traffic in Whitewater
Interstate 10 traffic was at a crawl early Friday morning after a three-vehicle collision that left one motorist trapped in their vehicle. The freeway was cleared of debris and traffic was back up to speed by 7:00 a.m.
There was no immediate word of any injuries following the crash at 4:40 a.m. in the freeway’s eastbound lanes just west of Haugen Lehmann Way.
Traffic was backed up for a mile in the eastbound lanes due to the closure of two traffic lanes. The CHP said the number four lane was open, but the number one and two lanes were closed.
