Roads back open after crash near Westfield Mall
Westbound lanes on Highway 111 near the Westfield Mall in Palm Desert were closed for over an hour following a multi-vehicle crash.
Four vehicles were involved in the crash, which happened on HWY 111 at Town Center Way at around 4:45 p.m.
Roads in the area were back open by 6 p.m.
At least one person was transported to the hospital. Riverside County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that person suffered minor injuries.
