Fire destroys mobile home in Mecca
According to Cal Fire, shortly before 5:30 p.m., firefighters assigned to air attack on the 35-acre Martinez Fire in Thermal spotted a structure fire in Mecca.
35-acre acre Thermal brush fire prompts 50 home evacuations
The fire was at a double-wide mobile home on the 90100 block of Avenue 70. Firefighters arrived on scene and found a home well-involved.
The fire was contained at around 6:30 p.m. No injuries were reported.
