Evacuation warning lifted for Ribbon Fire

Cal Fire has lifted evacuation warnings for all areas near the Ribbon Fire

— Hanging Rock Lane;
— Indio Avenue;
— Interlaken Avenue;
— Jeraboa Road;

Palm Desert High School on 74910 Aztec Road has also been open as a shelter for Ribbon Fire evacuees.

As of 5:30 p.m. Friday, the Ribbon Fire remains at 200-acres but is now 45% contained. The fire is burning off HWY 74 near Pinyon Pines.
