Summer Golf Tips: Shot shaping – fade and draw
Matt Urban at Desert Horizons Country Club in Indian Wells demonstrates some tips on how to shape certain shots, in particular, a fade and a draw.
Matt says that for a fade (right to left shot shape), golfers need to have the path of the swing to come outside to inside with an open face at impact. For a draw (left to right shot shape), it’s the opposite, with a inside to outside swing with the club face slightly closed at impact.
