More than 30 dogs rescued from Cranston Fire by valley nonprofit

Loving All Animals successfully rescued 31 dogs near the Cranston Fire on Wednesday after the blaze broke out.

Three female adult dogs and their litters of puppies were found near Living Free Animal Sanctuary in Mountain Center. Loving All Animals says they will host the dogs until they find out whether or not Living Free Animal Sanctuary has room to take them back. No word yet on which organization will eventually adopt the dogs out.

Cranston Fire at 4,700 acres, 5% containment

Loving All Animals is asking for wet or dry puppy and adult dog food donations from the public. You can drop off food at the office located at 44635 San Rafael Avenue in Palm Desert. Call Loving All Animals at (760) 834-7000 for more information.
