Desert Mirage’s Manny Ridge used death of father as motivation for record 2017 season

Desert Mirage now senior captain Manny Ridge had an amazing year in 2017 as the starting running back for the Rams.

He rushed for 2,197 yards and 17 touchdowns while also leading the state of California in attempts per game (44).

Right before the season started in August of 2017 his father passed away and instead of quitting the sport, he ran with a purpose & a heavy heart.
