3.1 M earthquake rattles Aguanga

A magnitude 3.1 earthquake struck roughly five miles south of Aguanga, in southwest Riverside County, this morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the temblor was recorded at 8:44 a.m. in the unincorporated county area, which is located 18 miles east of Temecula.

There were no reports of damage.
