62-year-old man found dead in Palm Spring pool identified

The Riverside County Coroner’s office has released the identity of a man who was found dead in a pool at a Palm Springs residence Monday.

Bradley Mauk was one of two men discovered inside a pool at a residence on the 1000 block of Via Altamira on Monday. Mauk, 62, was a resident of Palm Springs

The second man, a 60-year-old Palm Springs resident, has not been identified. His identity will be released once next of kin has been notified.

According to Sgt. Mike Casavan, the public information officer for the Palm Springs Police Department, drug paraphernalia was discovered next to the pool during law enforcement’s investigation of the scene.

Sgt. Casavan told KESQ & CBS Local 2 Tuesday that the exact cause of death is still under investigation but “there is nothing suspicious at this time.”
