Firefighter injured while battling outdoor BBQ fire in Palm Desert

One firefighter suffered non-life threatening injuries while battling a structure fire at a home in Bighorn in Palm Desert.

According to Cal Fire, the fire was reported at around 10:17 p.m. on the 100 Block Netas Drive. The first arriving engine company reported an outdoor barbeque was on fire and was extending into the attic of a single family home.

Forty six firefighters battled the flames.
