West Shores football stronger than ever after almost losing program in 2017

After almost having to cancel their program in the summer of 2017, the Wildcats found a way to keep their football team together. And they won some games along the way.

It was their first winning season in 11 years as they went 6-4 overall and competed for a CIF San Diego Section 8-man championship.

Here in 2018, under 2nd year head coach Gustavo Sandoval, the Wildcats’ strength and belief continues to grow as they look to have similar success this season.

The Wildcats open their 2018 schedule with rival Borrego Springs.
