Frontier Airlines adds more non-stop flights between Chicago & Palm Springs
Frontier Airlines adds more non-stop season flights between Chicago and Palm Springs.
The service, which starts on December 14, will give residents and visitors the ability to fly between Chicago O’Hare Airport and the Palm Springs International Airport twice a week.
“The City of Palm Springs is thrilled that Frontier Airlines will add seasonal nonstop service between PSP and Chicago O’Hare,” said City Manager David H. Ready. “We thank Frontier for recognizing the need to add service for mid-westerners looking to enjoy our year-round sunshine and relaxed desert lifestyle. This is great news for the Palm Springs destination.”
According to Scott White, CEO of the Greater Palm Springs Convention and Visitors Bureau, the PSP is experiencing record highs and is on track to reach 2.2 million passengers by the end of the year.
White added that PSP will have the most nonstop flights ever departing over the Christmas holidays, with an averaging of 51 flights per day between Dec. 20 and Jan. 6. He said the city’s long-term goal is to reach 16.8 visitors by 2026.”
Adding Frontier to Chicago is important for our destination as it will keep the fares competitive,” White said.
To celebrate the new service, Frontier is offering special introductory fares on their website.
