Missing man heading for Palm Desert found dead in his rental car

A man that has been missing since July has been found dead.

Mario Dipasquale, 60, was last seen departing Los Angeles International Airport in a rental car bound for Palm Desert on July 6th. He had reservations to stay at the Palm Desert Marriott but he never checked in. The rental company reported the car missing a week later.

Security video showed him leaving for the trip preparing for his drive to the Coachella Valley.

Dipasquale was found dead in his car off Highway 177 in Riverside County. Authorities do not believe his death is suspicious.
