Man found dead in Coachella identified

The Riverside County Coroners Office has identified a man found dead at a Coachella gas station on Friday.

Authorities were called to the 50900 block of Cesar Chavez Street at approximately 5:30 p.m. where they found Alan Wing, 46, of Coachella.

Officers had responded to calls for medical aid at the SoCo Quik Mart.

Wing was pronounced dead at 5:40 p.m.

Investigators were at the scene for hours conducting a death investigation. According to Investigator Armando Muniz of the Riverside County Sheriffs Department, there was no foul play involved.

All further inquiries were being referred to the Riverside County Sheriffs Department Thermal Station.
