Top-ranked teams duel in Dungeon for high school football game of the week

The Desert Empire football season debuts this Friday night, headlined by a marquee matchup between Palm Desert (5-0) and Shadow Hills (5-0).

The Aztecs are ranked No. 1 in Division 9 and the Knights are ranked No. 1 in Division 10. Aside from their top ranking and undefeated record, they both have two shutouts, they both allow less than 10 points per game and they both are vying for a league title. Needless to say, this should be a very evenly matched game and exciting for the fans.

This top-ranked duel could very well decide the Desert Empire champion, even though it is the first week of the league season, given the strength of these two squads.
