5 arrested following warrant search in Thousand Palms

Five arrested following a warrant search in Thousand Palms related to stolen property.

The warrant search happened before 6 p.m. at a residence a mile into Via Las Palmas. An officer at the scene said police were serving a warrant for stolen property at a Desert Hot Springs storage facility. The officer said some of the stolen property was recovered.

Several minors lived on the property, Child Protective Services arrived at the residence and interviewed the minors.
