Speeding car flips on 215 in Perris
PERRIS, Calif. — At least one person was injured when a car slammed into the center divider and overturned on Interstate 215 in Perris today.
The crash was reported just before 12 p.m. in the northbound 215 lanes north of Placentia Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP says a red sedan “lost control at full speed” and flipped over, hitting a second vehicle in the process.
A witness told a CHP dispatcher that a passerby stopped and tried to flip the overturned car to free the passengers trapped inside before first responders arrived.
Ambulances were dispatched to the scene and at least one person was hospitalized with unknown injuries.
