Cal Fire rescues stranded hiker in Rancho Mirage

Cal Fire crews have located and rescued a hiker from Mike Schuler Trail west of Painters Path in Rancho Mirage. The incident was reported at 10:44 a.m.

A Cal Fire helicopter transported the hiker to a ground ambulance and was then brought to an area hospital to treat moderate injuries.
