26th annual Desert Sampler: Great eats for an even greater cause
The 26th Desert Sampler was held this evening at the River in Rancho Mirage.
Thousands of people sampled food from local restaurants. 100% of all proceeds will go to our local schools.
“The kids really need the help. You know, it’s just as simple as that. The budget cuts and everything else. The supplies.. the teachers are buying them. All the money raised from this really helps them out,” said Ira Mosley, owner of Papa Dan’s.
Pap Dan’s was one of several vendors at this year’s Sampler, which included :
