Renova Energy named 2018 Large Business of the Year

Renova Energy of Palm Desert will receive the 2018 Large Business of the Year Award.

The award will be presented to the company by Senator Jeff Stone. The presentation will take place Friday at 3:30 p.m. at the company’s headquarters at 75-181 Mediterranean Avenue in Palm Desert.

“Renova Energy is an award-winning, employee-owned company that not only contributes to the economy of the Coachella Valley, but gives back to the community, and especially our veteran community,” said Senator Stone

The company was founded in 2006 by Vincent Battaglia. In 2015, they had 60 employees, now the company employs over 150 people and hope to continue to grow that number to 200. Renova lives up to its mantra, “Local, Brighter, Better.” Battaglia was recently honored at the 4th Annual SBEMP Business Awards, receiving the environmental award.

The company is committed to delivering practical, sustainable solar energy production and its capacity to build solar power plants for homes, business and nonprofit organizations from the Coachella Valley to the Salton Sea.
