World Series champion Coco Crisp predicts WS winner
At Shadow Hills High School, Los Angeles Dodgers fever has reached a boiling point.
“We’re going to get a big, fat ‘W'”, said a Shadow Hills High student holding an LA Dodgers blanket.
With Los Angeles playing in the in World Series, students have started trading in their school colors of purple and black for Dodgers blue .
“I’ve got Vans shoes. I’ve got pants. I’ve got earrings. I’ve got jerseys,” said Shadow Hills High student Natalie Hamilton.
Hamilton believes the boys in blue are going to beat the Boston Red Sox for the world championship.
“Red Sox fans can just be quiet because I have faith in the Dodgers,” she said.
But at the Knight’s baseball field, we’re getting an expert’s opinion.
“I think the one thing is the bullpen has to stay sharp,” said former big leaguer Coco Crisp and current Shadow Hills High baseball coach.
Crisp is originally from Los Angeles and grew up a Dodgers fan. But he played for the Boston Red Sox and won a World Series championship with them.
Emotions aside, Crisp believes Boston is winning this World Series.
“I believe the Red Sox are going to win,” he said. “Their offense is potent and their rotation is is really good.”
