Golf cart parade cruises into 54th year
Creatively decorated golf carts will cruise down El Paseo for the 54th year at Sunday’s Golf Cart Parade.
The day unofficially marks the start of the valley’s busy season. This year’s theme is “Celebrating our Super Heroes” and will include costumes, the historic parade, marching bands, dance troupes and lots of family fun.
The community can check out a variety of floats, vendors, a car show, kids zone, and golf expo.
The event kicked off this Sunday, October, 28 at the El Paseo shopping district in Palm Desert at 12 p.m.
It is the longest running parade in the Coachella Valley.
