Pride celebrations bring weekend biz boom

It’s hard to miss to colorful costumes and vibrant energy pouring onto the streets of downtown Palm Springs for this year’s annual Palm Springs Pride.

Businesses owners are also feeling this excitement — with a big boost in customers across restaurants, bars, hotels and shopping.

The streets closest to the action are reeling in the biggest businesses — including Palm Canyon Dr., Arenas Road, and Indian Canyon.

Drivers can expect traffic delays downtown over the weekend with Arenas Road closed off entirely.
