S.O.S. Palm Desert store holding liquidation sale

Soldiers Organized Service’s Palm Desert resale boutique store is closing, and this weekend the organization will be holding a final liquidation sale.

Erica Stone, the founder of the organization, said they hope to refocus their core mission of transporting active duty Marines and Veterans.

“We’re just closing the store, our mission of providing daily rides to our military is going strong,” Stone said in an email to KESQ & CBS Local 2. “We are liquidating everything so that we can raise funds for the holidays to help the Marines get home for Christmas.”

The sale will be held on November 17 and 18 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. or dark. Last month, SOS held two weekends-worth of liquidation sales at its Indio location.

The Palm Desert boutique store is located at 77851 Las Montanas Road, Ste A.

All proceeds will go toward marines and veterans from all branches of service.
