County gas prices dip 32 days in a row
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped for the 32nd consecutive day today, decreasing nine-tenths of a cent to $3.546.
It’s the longest such streak in more than two years.
The average price has dropped 25.5 cents over the past 32 days, including a half-cent Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.It is 4 cents less than one week ago and 24.8 cents lower than one month ago, but 37.4 cents more than one year ago. It has risen 47.3 cents since the start of the year.
The average price dropped 35 consecutive days from July 12-Aug. 15, 2016, when that average also included figures from San Bernardino County.
