Police seek two men who robbed victim on CV Link

The Palm Springs Police Department is looking for two men accused in an armed robbery on the CV Link today.

According to PSPD, two 20-30-year-old white male adults riding bicycles approached the victim on the CV Link trail near Ramon Road & Crossley Road and demanded valuables. The victim said one of the suspects showed they had a handgun in their waistband.

Police currently do not know the identities of the suspects They ask that if you witnessed the incident to call the Palm Springs Police Department at 760-323-8116 or anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 760-341-7867.

The CV Link is an alternative transportation path intended for bicyclists, pedestrians, and low-speed electric vehicles, including golf carts. It is planned to span about 50 miles across the Coachella Valley, not including Rancho Mirage and Indian Wells, which opted out of the project. This segment of the CV Link spans 2.3-mile that spans from Vista Chino in Palm Springs to Ramon Road in Cathedral City. It was the very first stretch of the path to be opened.
