Loma Linda Children’s Health Clinic assures families they are open for everyone

Loma Linda University Children’s Health is getting the word out that their doors are open for everyone.

The clinic opened in Indio last March. Located on 82-934 W Civic Center Dr just around the corner from Indio City Hall, the clinic allows local families access to more healthcare here in the valley.

The clinic is open six days a week, Sunday through Friday, providing general pediatric care ranging from routine check-ups to specialty care.

With the recent political tension at the border, the clinic wants to assure people that they don’t ask questions about legal status.

“We ask none of those questions, ‘Where you were born, where you were raised, where you are from.’ We are here to provide healthcare for the children of this community and we want children to be healthy to get what they need, to grow up and healthy and grow up to be well. we welcome all comers,” said Alexandra Clark, division chief of general pediatrics at the clinic.

The clinic is working on adding dental care, cardiology, and continuing to expand their other services.
