Update: Man identified in fatal crash on the 10 freeway
The Riverside County’s coroner has identified the man who died in the Cathedral City crash Saturday night as 51 year old Kevin Brown of Joshua Tree.
California Highway patrol says Brown crashed his car into a guardrail at the Date Palm exit, on eastbound side of Interstate 10 around 8:30 p.m.
Officials at the scene say Brown was trapped in his car when fire crews arrived.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
