Desert Classic featured groups, pairings and tee times released
The featured groups, pairings, and tee times for the 60th Desert Classic has been released.
Some of the notable matchups include;
The legendary Phil Mickelson is paired with Aaron Wise, the 2018 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year. Thursday – 9:10 a.m. tee time at the La Quinta Country Club. Friday – 8:40 a.m. tee time at the Nicklaus Country Club. Saturday – 10:20 a.m. tee time at the PGA West Stadium.
The #1 player in the world, Justin Rose, makes his 2019 tour debut paired with Zach Johnson, a former Masters winner. Thursday – 8:40 a.m. tee time at the La Quinta Country Club. Friday – 10:20 a.m. tee time at the Nicklaus Country Club. Saturday – 9:50 a.m. at the PGA West Stadium.
Last year’s Desert Classic winner, Jon Rahm, is paired with Chez Reavie, the 54th ranked player in the world. Thursday – 10:20 a.m. tee time at the La Quinta Country Club. Friday – 9:50 a.m. tee time at the Nicklaus Country Club. Saturday – 9:20 a.m.tee time at the PGA West Stadium.
Palm Desert High School grad Charles Reiter is paired with University of Oregon standout, Wyndham Clark. Thursday – 10:00 a.m. tee time at the La Quinta Country Club. Friday – 9:30 a.m. tee time at the Nicklaus Country Club. Saturday – 9:00 a.m. tee time at the PGA West Stadium.
The Desert Classic week is open to the public starting Wednesday with the Bob Hope Classic Legacy AM with starts at 8:30 a.m.
The event isn’t all golf, there is food, beverages, and, of course, music. Sammy Hagar will be in concert Friday evening and Bad Times Company will perform Saturday evening.
