Thousand Palms marijuana dispensary raided

Riverside County Sheriff’s Department deputies were seen shutting down a marijuana dispensary in Thousand Palms Thursday afternoon.

A restraining order was posted for Good Good Dispensary, which is located on Datil Road in Thousand Palms. The location has been boarded up, and deputies and code enforcement officers were on scene clearing out the trailer.

According to a notice posted on the door of the dispensary, a Judge has granted a preliminary injunction against Goog Good and its owner, Cooper Dietz.

The dispensary was one of several that I-Team investigator Brooke Beare looked into in her special I-Team report, Under the Radar. The second dispensary, Green Empire, was still operating as of Thurday evening.

County law enforcement officers and county officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

“All day, and all night,” said Tina Villasenor, who lives near the dispensary. “Since they put in that shop, I see the whole night illegal activities, all the cars, all the little gangs (of people hanging around).”
