Two boys shot in Coachella

Two juveniles have been shot in Coachella, less than 24 hours after a 14-year-old was shot in the city.

Both of the boys sustained non-life threatening injuries. One victim sustained a gunshot wound, while one sustained a graze wound.

According to an RSO spokesperson, the shooting was reported at 3:49 p.m. on the 85800 block of Avenida Grace.

No suspects have been arrested at this time.

Witnesses told Lauren Coronado that the victims were 14 and 15, respectively. With this shooting, three juveniles have been shot in Coachella in less than 24 hours. Yesterday evening, a male juvenile was shot in an apartment complex on the 1400 block of Orchard Avenue. Neighbors told News Channel 3 the juvenile was a 14-year-old boy.

The Sheriff’s Department said the boy in yesterday’s shooting was hospitalized with major injuries.
