Sexual assault investigated at Coachella Valley High School
UPDATE: The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed to News Channel 3 that the department is investigating an alleged sexual assault at Coachella Valley High School.

The Coachella Valley Unified School District confirmed they have received a report of an alleged sexual assault at Coachella Valley High School.
CVUSD Assistant Superintendent Dr. Josie Paredes confirmed the district is cooperating with law enforcement’s investigation.
“For this reason, and in the interest of the privacy rights of our student under the California Constitution, we are not able to provide further detail at this time,” Paredes wrote in a statement.
