Amazon lockers coming to Coachella
For festival-goers, the world’s largest online marketplace will be at the fingertips come April.
Amazon announced that they will be installing Amazon lockers at the Empire Polo Club in Indio for both Coachella weekends (April 12-14 and April 19-21) this year.
“Customers will have the ability to order everything they need – whether it’s a flower crown or phone charger – in advance for delivery during the festival or onsite for same-day delivery,” reads the Amazon news release. “It will feature a selection of festival essentials from categories including fashion & accessories, beauty, health & wellness, tech, and camping. The storefront will open in the weeks leading up to the festival at amazon.com/Coachella.”
Taking advantage of the new lockers will be pretty straightforward; at checkout, festival-going customers can select one of the lockers in festival grounds as their shipping address. When the package is ready for pickup, the customer will receive an email with a barcode to use to pick up their parcel from the locker.
