What’s new: Riverside County Fair and National Date Festival
The Riverside County Fair and National Date Festival is open from February 15 – February 24.
Two new food stops you can make are Eddie’s Asian Food and West Coast Weenies. Both restaurants will feature date-inspired items. Eddie’s Asian Food will have a date-strawberry tea and West Coast Weenies is trying a date beer battered corn dog.
If you enjoy the petting zoo, keep an eye out for Lulu the wallaby. You can also see the only traveling sea lion show in the United States, Sea Lion Splash.
Fifteen pigs will also show off their skills at Swifty Swine Racing Pigs. These runners and swimmers make their first appearance in Indio this year.
Thrill seekers can try out the Mega Flip for the first time this year. Younger riders can check out the Dragon Wagon and the Little Wheel.
